My love for all things gardening was passed onto me by my late grandmother Hazel, who kept the most beautiful garden at her home in Cuffley, Hertfordshire. I have many fond memories of helping her in her greenhouse and tending to her splendid rose garden.

After 25 years in the corporate world, I’ve followed my passion and gained a Diploma in Garden Design and RHS Level 2 qualifications in horticulture.

In 2023 I was delighted to be selected to design and build a garden at the Belvoir Castle Flower and Garden Show. I also write a monthly column for Velvet, the award-winning regional magazine. I am thrilled to have recently been awarded two international Silver Laurel Awards by GardenComm for my Velvet column and the guest expert blog that I wrote for the garden trade show Glee. My garden writing was also shortlisted for the Alan Titchmarsh New Talent of the Year Award at the Garden Media Guild Awards 2024.
